Owning rats, or as some say, being owned by rats, is a journey. For me it began with being intensely rat-phobic to where I am now, rat-obsessed (ok, i admit it).
I knew there was more than one reason to love this show. First off, it somewhat makes up for the loss of Homicide: Life on the Street, one of the best t.v. shows ever made, second, it is real life, done in almost real-time and it brings home the high cost of drugs and thugs without being preachy. And then I find out that one of the Memphis detectives has two pet rats! Can't get much better than that.Labels: tv homicide detective
